Two weeks ago I was down in Grants Pass, OR visiting Gretchen a friend from grad school and was fortunate enough to shoot her engagement session. Josh recently proposed to Gretchen on to top of a mountain in Montana on their drive from Minnesota to Oregon.

They are quite the outdoors company and a move to the Pacific Northwest was perfect for them. Josh was a trooper because he’d much be rather be outdoors camping instead of taking pictures, but the things we do for love. They are my official first engagement session and will be shooting their wedding next summer.

They actually got into the river.  How cool are these two?  And if you were wondering it’s a great place to go kayaking with rapids and everything.
